Infinite Scream

I just need to say that the President is willfully ignorant, laser focused on profiteering, and now completely deranged. Do not listen to a word he says.  He is a clear and present danger to every person on the planet.

The science is incontrovertible:
- Stay the Fuck Home if you can.
- Wear a mask if you go out in public.
- Stay 6 ft away from people in public, even if you have to wait for them to move.
- Wash your nasty hands.
- Sanitize hard objects with 70% isopropyl alcohol, fabrics in the laundry.

Do not drink or inject cleaning products!!!
Do not fry your skin with UV light!!!

Please do not engage in any behaviors that might put a greater burden on emergency personnel.
And wait for doctors and nurses to agree and announce that there is a treatment or that things can normalize a bit.

Facial Phrenology

told ya so.

But of Course

New data shows many of those hospitalized had high blood pressure, obesity or diabetes
One other surprising finding from the study was that 70 percent of the patients sick enough to be admitted to the hospital did not have a fever. Fever is currently listed as the top symptom of covid-19 by the CDC, and for weeks, many testing centers for the virus turned away patients if they did not have one.
Davidson said that as a result of that findings, Northwell is encouraging people with underlying health conditions, such as hypertension and diabetes, who are potentially exposed to the virus and who might not have a fever to consult with a doctor sooner rather than later.

So Much Winning

A malaria drug widely touted by Trump for treating the new coronavirus showed no benefit in a large analysis of its use in U.S. veterans hospitals. There were more deaths among those given hydroxychloroquine versus standard care, researchers reported.

This drug was not only promoted by the stupid motherfucker, he bought 29 million doses of it instead of ventilators or masks...

Low Carb Diet Time

High glucose levels may explain why some flu patients have more severe symptoms

In this new effort, the researchers suspected that heightened levels of glucose in the bloodstream might play a role. The researchers injected flu-infected test mice with glucosamine to see if it resulted in an increased chance of cytokine storms and report that it did.

Cytokine storms are how COVID-19 kills.

My husband reminds me that when in the hospital, the protocol is to let diabetics' blood sugar rise without concern.   Hospitals are more afraid of low blood sugar and coma. That's probably not helping.

Green tea polyphenols change the profile of inflammatory cytokine release from lymphocytes of obese and lean rats and protect against oxidative damage.

Green tea with a high catechin content suppresses inflammatory cytokine expression in the galactosamine-injured rat liver.

Tea polyphenols inhibit the activation of NF-κB and the secretion of cytokines and matrix metalloproteinases by macrophages stimulated with Fusobacterium nucleatum

State of the Insanity

"We are in the churning stream of death, right now. And as our fellow Americans perish by the thousands, 4500+ dead just yesterday in one day— Trump and GOP mayors and governors scream, open the floodgates.

Death to America, they may as well be shouting.

Perhaps they are."

Somebody seems to be reading my rambling

Hi You Guys!   Thanks for this data!

Anti-Streptococcal antibodies in Chinese patients with type -1 narcolepsy
Streptococcus infection reflected by increase of ASO and ADB levels was not found in Chinese patients with type 1 narcolepsy, additional triggers for narcolepsy need to be addressed in this population.
So Fascinating.

I rarely see the European symptoms in Asian faces.  Their facial anatomy is different and I don't see the same recurring pathologies. Their epithelium and immune system are different than wypipo too.

The strep just seems to be a catalyst for the endotoxin though. It's the endotoxin that kills the orexin cells...

Here's some alternative endotoxin burdening things to test:
Beta Lactam antibiotic usage.
Dental lesions: teething, pericoronitis, and orthodontic trauma.  Cavities.  Gingivitis.

One chinese-american mother told me people these days drink more coffee and soda and less tea.

Infectious Disease Pet Peeve

Yeah, can we never, ever blow out birthday candles ever again?
Thanks.

That's what it's all about

"Democrats shouldn't be allowed to win" the 2020 election.
The President said that yesterday. On Live TV.

Some COVID-19 patients still shed coronavirus after symptoms disappear

up to 8 days!

Oh Really

This article is amazing.   This changes the entire paradigm.

Gut communicates with the entire brain through cross-talking neurons
Scientists have long assumed sensations from the gut, or anywhere in the body, traveled to the brain along one set of neurons (the sensory neurons), with instructions from the brain traveling back along a separate set of neurons (the motor neurons). But in their mapping study, Illinois researchers discovered some of the neurons—about half—were transmitting both sensory and motor signals.
They were capable of cross-talk within the same neuron.
"From the cortex to the brainstem, in pretty much every region we investigated, there was that 50% overlap of sensory-motor signals. It was throughout the brain, consistently," says study co-author Elizabeth Davis.

A ketogenic diet, mild exercise, and rigorous hygiene measures are in order

*bumping back up top*

Coronavirus symptoms include a runny nose, cough, sore throat, headache and a fever that can last for a couple of days.

Yeah, aside from the fever, that's pretty much the baseline existence of a lot of people with narcolepsy.

I am wondering if we will be more resilient or more susceptible to this novel infection.

I have a feeling this might have a paradoxical effect.
To be less lethal in people with suppressed infections, similar to the Obesity  paradox.
But create more subsequent bacterial complications and narcolepsy in healthy individuals, similar to the pandemic influenzas.

In either case, if your symptoms get drastically worse, that's a symptom of infection- you need to stop eating junk altogether and start cleaning your head multiple times a day to prevent subsequent bacterial infiltration.

Right now I'm trying to reduce existing breathing issues and jump start my immune system.

I'm drinking some white tea every afternoon.

I'm going outside and getting sun on my face.
It is getting close to the equinox, and you should be able to get some sunshine if you aren't too far north.  Take vitamin D in any case.

It's kind of warm here in Arizona and I have already turned on my evap cooler to hydrate my nose and lungs.  It's very nice, my eyes have stopped weeping and  I have stopped sneezing.  Folks without one may want to do some sessions in front of a humidifier.   (Not when you are lying down, we are trying to avoid pneumonia.)
Saline or olive oil on a swab up your nose for two minutes helps a lot too.

If you smoke, you should find a vape you can tolerate, so you don't get sicker.   Or get some gum or lozenges.  Seriously, nicotine is actually antiseptic, it tightens up leaky epithelium, it's all the other crap in cigarettes that kills you.

Oh yeah, I always forget this because it's been impossible for me to drink for so long-
You should probably cut out alcohol too.  Yeah, definitely.    I know, this seems like the worse possible time for that...

Keep up the good fight.

Have a Plan

*bump*

There is much that is unknown about COVID 19.   The mortality rate seems to be about 1-2%.   It gets worse the older and sicker and more male you are.  About twice as much for men as women.

That means you will probably survive it, if you don't ignore it.   Don't just take some vitamin C and go back to work...
I do not plan on leaving the house if I get sick. I intend to Self-Quarantine.

Expect a powerful respiratory infection.  A ton of mucous membrane destruction and a big dose of endotoxin to knock you out right from the beginning.

My preparation-
I bought a 12 pack of chicken broth.
Zicam cold remedy.
A few boxes of kleenex.
White Tea
Vinyl gloves in case I need to take care of someone else.
I already have swabs and saline.

If you get sick-

BATHE!  Wipe your face often.  Wash your hands often.
Swab/rinse out your snot.
Brush teeth with baking soda.
Coat oropharyngeal membranes with olive oil.
Take zinc.  Zicam is widely available.
Take vitamin D now to help prevent any comorbid bacterial infections.

DRINK WHITE TEA.   I cannot stress enough how much this helps.

Eat very little- and don't eat carbs.
My favorite "sick food" is egg drop soup.   Take a can of broth and bring it to a boil in a pan.
Add a couple chives and a tablespoon of soy sauce.   Mix up an egg in a bowl and drop the batter into the broth when it is boiling vigorously.   Wait a few seconds and stir with a wooden spoon.  Turn off burner and remove pot.  You now have lovely salty broth to loosen your mucous and some bland protein to keep you going.

SLEEP SITTING UP.
It's much easier to breathe and rest this way.
Change your bedding frequently.

After you're better, disinfect your household surfaces with 71% alcohol and wash your laundry with baking soda.
There are people who had nasal infections, recovered, then later a worse lung infection flared up.
Be vigilant with your hygiene.

For Posterity

Tourettes is caused by molar teeth.
Verbal tics are caused by the upper first molar pinching the Glossopharyngeal nerve.
Body tics are caused by the lower second molar pinching the Phrenic nerve.
Inflammation of the sockets causes clenching and grinding.
Which then cause twitching and vocalizations.

I freakin found it!   I tweaked the upper molar a little, and have not spontaneously talked for over a week now.   A symptom I have had for 38 years...

I need to make up some diagrams and modulate the vicious rant that is running through my head.
Will write more soon.
