Some participants commented on the need to better understand and target the underlying cause(s) of the disease, for example orexin or hypocretin loss.Who is telling people that narcolepsy is caused by a breakdown in sleep architecture?
A few commented that sodium oxybate targets the underlying cause (sleep consolidation) but that other options are needed for patients who cannot take sodium oxybate.
Hmmmm. I wonder.
That sounds kinda backwards to me.
