Every time you forget something your habenula freaks out. It gets worse right along with your memory. You're in a constant state of panic and exhaustion just looking for your coffee cup and shoes.
If I drove into town and forgot the key for the apartment I was working on, I would collapse and cry on the front stoop. And want to die.
It's the most annoying vortex.
And knowing that information did not make it stop or make it more tolerable. In fact it got to the point I could curse "Fuck You Habenula" while in a Tourette's tic torrent.
