In light of new experimental results, I am going to alter the grand hypothesis a bit.
I have been biting and ripping off my fingernails since I was a toddler. 60 years. I knew it was an infection. I have tried everything and nothing ever helped. I finally gave up when I started remodeling.
I put the curcumin cream on my fingernails and the urge to rip them off ceased immediately. Not soon. Not overnight. Within seconds. With regular use, my nail beds have healed and my nails are growing. So I put it on my toenails too. The same thing is happening to my feet.
Moreover, the inflammation in my hands and feet has reduced. My joints are loosening. The pain in my hands all the way to my shoulders has subsided. Ankles, knees and hips too.
I'm becoming pretty sure that arthritis comes from the periphery, not the digestive tract. Wounds to the hands and feet allow the limbs to become infected.
I like the soap a lot too, but it's rather drying and requres lotion afterwards.
