One in Five

I want to loop back around to this topic:

Odontogenic Sinusitis accounts for 10–14% of the total maxillary sinusitis, with reports of up to 40%, Out of the total number of unilateral maxillary sinusitis, (one side) dental causes account for 75% .

I had sinusitis and snoring my whole life.  Super crowded teeth.  Orthodontia for 10 years.    I had doctors offer to many types of surgery to my nose and throat.   I went to the dentist every six months.

Why didn't anyone ever even consider this might be my problem???

Why did they blow me off even when I  told them I thought my nose was draining into my mouth???

Why did they let that shit fester in my face until I was crazy and had cancer???

Because dentists won't take responsibility, and ENT's will never refer you to a dentist.  They have second homes.  They want to sell you surgery.

This it the big fat gap in modern medicine that we fall into.  The separation between dentistry and doctoring...

Be Aware, people.     When they ask you why you are at the doctor/dentist...write Odontogenic Sinusitus on your intake form.  Then they actually have to address it, not just test you randomly.
